USP 797 Revision Timeline Released

The timeline for revisions to USP 797 has been released. USP 797 Pharmaceutical Compounding - Sterile Preparations is now in the active revision process. USP intends to align the timing and content of General Chapters 797 and 800 Hazardous Drugs-Handling in Healthcare Settings to provide a unified approach to quality compounding. Among other proposed content in the revisions, hazardous drug handling sections in USP 797 will reference USP 800. Below you will find the timeline and associated web links for you to engage and provide input during the public comment periods.  You will be able to provide written comments through the USP website from July 28, 2018 to November 30, 2018.
