The MSHO Foundation is a 501c3 organization which was formed in 2011 to address the growing educational needs of hematology and oncology professionals in Michigan.
The Foundation conducts the majority of its business through meetings hosted regularly throughout the state of Michigan. The goal of these meetings is to provide an educational environment where doctors, nurses, advanced practice professionals, and anyone else involved in providing care to the cancer patient can educate themselves on the latest updates in patient care.

Donations made to the MSHO Foundation help fund educational opportunities for physicians, fellows, advanced practice providers, nurses, navigators, pharmacists, and administrators. Scholarships are also awarded for travel to national meetings, stipends to attend the MSHO Annual Meeting, young professional development, and continuing education.
