Practice Opportunity
McLaren Oakland in collaboration with the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute is actively recruiting a Hematology/Oncology physician to join a new Karmanos Cancer Clinic in Oxford, Michigan.  McLaren Oakland breaks ground for this new facility in March 2023 with an anticipated completion timeline of mid 2024.  The facility is adjacent to McLaren Primary Care offices and will include a free-standing Emergency Department, Radiology, Pharmacy and Lab.  The Karmanos Cancer Clinic will have six exam rooms and 11 physician-supported infusion bays.  Ancillary clinic support will include two RN’s, two MA’s and two Patient Access Representatives.  Inpatient rounding optional at McLaren Oakland hospital in Pontiac, Michigan with shared call of 1:3.  This position offers a Monday through Friday clinic schedule. 

Prior to the opening of the Oxford clinic, interested candidates can work with our Karmanos Cancer Care team at our McLaren Lapeer Hospital in Lapeer, Michigan.  This will include mentorship from two highly experienced, board-certified Hematologist/Oncologists.  Qualified candidates will be BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology.

Facility Highlights
McLaren Oakland is a 318-bed hospital that provides primary and specialty healthcare services to the greater Pontiac and Oakland County, Michigan communities.
