Overpayment Efficiencies

WPS would like to help you get your overpayment processed quickly. The most efficient way is to use the WPS Secure Net Access Portal (SNAP). This portal allows you to notify us of an overpayment or return money to us.

You may also choose to send paper requests and checks. When using this option, it is important to include the correct form. If using a form, be sure to complete the fields for Contact and Medicare Type correctly. Use the following to help you:

Contract:

• J8 – Indiana and Michigan

Medicare Type:

• Part A – UB-04 claim form or 837I electronic transaction
• Part B – CMS 1500 claim form or 837P electronic transaction

Medical Records Requested for CERT Review
