Here’s your one-stop guide to provider communications
At Priority Health, we work to keep you informed with all the news you need, when you need it. We share provider updates through several communication channels – from Provider Manual news like this, to our PriorityActions emails, webinars, portal messages, newsletters and more.
To make it easier to keep track of these resources, we’ve put together a guide to our provider publications and communication channels, including what each one is used for as well as where you can find them at any time.
Use this guide as a quick reference to understand where to look for important updates, reminders, training opportunities, and ongoing resources. The guide can help you stay connected to the Priority Health communications most relevant to your work. Get Guide HERE
Member eligibility response (271) changes coming Sept. 1
On Sept. 1, 2026, we’ll update how we generate and return member eligibility responses (271) as part of our Provider Portal’s transition to Epic. The new responses will use Epic’s 271 output, which follows industry standard (X12) formatting. Epic’s 271 output includes more comprehensive benefit information and additional details beyond the specific date of service. As a result, what you’ll see in your system for eligibility and benefits may look different than it does today. What changes can you expect to see? CLICK HERE
Register now for our new Provider Portal all-user account registration training beginning July 27
Registration for our new Provider Portal opens up for all users on August 3. Join us ahead of that date on Monday, July 27 at noon for a training webinar on:
- Requesting an account
- Completing identity verification
- Receiving your login credentials
- For Site Administrators: Approving account requests
Who should attend?
Any user who needs an account on our new Provider Portal launching September 1 should attend this training. As a reminder, prism will be retired on the day the new portal goes live, so any provider needing portal access will need an account on the new portal.
If you’re a Site Administrator who has already created a site on the new portal, there will be a short section at the end about approving account requests and requesting accounts on behalf of other users. Most of the other content will be a repeat of the site creation training webinar content from June, so feel free to register and then join about 20 minutes in.
How to register
You can join us by registering online.
Can't join us?
We have additional site creation training dates scheduled for:
- Wednesday, July 29 at noon
- Monday, August 3 at noon
- Wednesday, August 5 at noon
Registration for these other dates will open soon.
After July 27, an on-demand recording of the training will be available at the registration link above, or on our provider webinars page.
Has a site been created for your organization yet?
This is a great time to ask your practice or hospital administrators if a site has been created for the new Priority Health Provider Portal yet. Each organization with a distinct Type 2 NPI needs a site to be created (requested and approved) before users can create accounts affiliated to that site.
If you’re a Site Administrator who hasn’t yet created a site for your practice or hospital, please do so immediately. Go to our Getting Started page to begin the process.
