Urge Congress to Take Action and Stop the Implementation of the Trump Administration Rule to Change Federal Grant Making Process

The Trump Administration has proposed a new rule that applies to all federal agencies and would dramatically reshape the federal grant making process. The changes proposed by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), which include limiting scientific dissemination and allowing federal agencies to terminate grants at will, threaten to undermine hematology research and patient care. Last week, ASH published a statement on the rule and submitted comments to OMB urging immediate withdrawal of the rule, but we also need you to contact your lawmakers so Congress can understand the potentially devastating impact of this rule.
